There is only one living and true God. He eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit - three in One. Each with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence or being.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who came to this earth as Saviour of the world. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life and gave Himself as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the Cross.
He arose from the dead after three days, victorious over sin and death, ascended to Heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God. He will return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead and to be glorified in all who believe in the gospel.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, eternal and fully divine. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He comes to live and make His home in every believer from the moment of salvation, and supplies power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right. He is our Helper, our Comforter who seals us with the promise of eternal life.
The Bible is God's Word and is without error. It was written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit as God enabled them, and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is himself the focus of the divine revelation.
Both man and woman were made in God's image; created according to the good pleasure of His will, in His likeness. But because the first man, Adam, disobeyed God, everyone is born with a sin nature and therefore is separated from Him - which is the reason we suffer all the problems in this world. But God came to reconcile us to Himself through Jesus and give us new life.
We believe that salvation is a free gift of God made available to all through Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. No one can ever cancel or pay for the debt of their sin by self improvement or good works. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith int he redeeming blood of Jesus Christ.
We were created to live forever! Heaven and hell are real places and our eternal destination is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ's life and ministry at the right hand of the Father secures our eternal salvation, as He ever lives to make intercession for us. Christ Himself is our eternal security! He upholds us in His own righteousness and is our hope and confidence. No self-effort can secure such absolute, complete, unshakeable and everlasting salvation.
We believe in the power and significance of the Church, the universal, spiritual body of believers from every tribe and tongue, and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together to worship, pray, encourage and support one another, share communion and work together to advance the Lord's kingdom. To God be the glory in the Church by Christ Jesus.
In water baptism we obey God's word and follow Jesus. Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We understand that God is the one who blesses us with all good things, including our income. He also helps us to enjoy and manage our finances by teaching us to honour Him before everything else as we give back to Him the tithe - that is one tenth of our income. When we continue to recognise Him as our provider and honour Him above all things, we are assured of a continual and more than enough supply.
